On the one hand you have gyaru. Gyaru is such and advanced style that has been around for ages; constantly evolving, and growing. Here in the west it's growing everyday, and gaining more recognition so you'd think that'd make doing gyaru easier right? But it doesn't! Look at those girls, to become a good gal it takes dedication, patience, effort, time, and a LOT of hard work. Especially to do a style as high maintenance as agejo, my personal favorite. It takes a lot of money, and creativity. You also have to improvise, and look for clothes that are good knock off's of the original clothes.
On the other hand you have udoli. Udoli has been around only a few years (about 5) and is constantly dying to be reincarnated. It has so much potential, but you have to make it happen with constant promotion, speaking of promotion a little shameless promotion here :-P (http://dessiesdolls.tumblr.com/ http://udoli.polyvore.com/)
Check us out! It's much more low maintenance (despite the pictures) But it's an all consuming job trying to KEEP the style alive, and show people why it's so great.
So it can be a head ache to juggle these styles. It can even be exhausting-but to me it's worth it, and if you're juggling multiple styles just do your best, divide your time evenly between the two, and devote and equal amount of time to both because in the end it will definitely pay off.
